The program is written in Java, and hence to run the program you will need a copy of Java installed on your computer.

Stable Releases

Stable releases come complete with an installation program and are available in two forms:

no_java: The installer doesn't include a copy of the Java VM and should only be used if you already have a Java VM on your computer.
with_java: The installer includes a copy of the Java VM exclusively for the use of Nomen, if you're unsure choose this option.

Stable releases exist for Windows and Linux, please choose the correct one from the project files page.

Development Releases

Bleeding edge source-code can be obtained from CVS, periodically semi-stable versions are released:

Latest (20030916 release):

Nomen (Binary)
The complete application, ready to run.
ChemNomParse Project (Source)
The complete source code for the project, ready to be built with J2SE SDK and ant.
ChemNomParse Library (Binary)
Just the core parser which is now part of the CDK.
